Palazzo Serristori, located along the river Arno in the San Niccolò district, between Piazza Demidoff and the namesake Lungarno Serristori. The construction of the building dates back to 1520 and subsequently the building has undergone numerous alterations.
Colleague architects with office in Via di Porto, were entrusted to renovate Palazzo Serristori on the Lungarni in Florence, transforming the previously approved project from a luxury hotel to large luxury apartments.
The time available to present this new permission was very tight and the studio was asked to collaborate on this important project. To study and develop an architectural project for the last four floors of the building. Beautiful environments, full of frescoes and decorated walls and ceilings which echoed a rich past. Only a few points to pass the wiring and plumbing systems. After a careful study of the floors, a layout was prepared with only a limited number of luxury apartments, reachable by three staircases equipped with elevators.
Once the numerous permits from the Superintendency for Cultural Heritage and the Municipality of Florence where obtained, the works started which focused on the restoration of the roof and facades besides the internal structural works awaiting an investor capable of dealing with the marketing of the entire project.
